Plate on Visual Illusion
Project Description
The illusions involved are usually mirror based and require tricks that involve reflection and viewing of the object at a certain angle. The first included a changing cylinder illusion that was designed to look different in various angles while the last illusion was developed using the iinfinite mirror trick.The design process included development of the ship’s interior as well as computations for mirror sizes with the ship’s schematics in mind. Procreate is where drafts of the project were sketched while storyboarding of the story itself was done while shooting the film. The project has been an ode to my dog “Basti” who then passed while the project was being developed. It was my way of having him commemorated through film.
